RevoDx Purification Kits utilize special lysis buffer systems in combination with silica based spin columns or magnetic beads to efficiently purify nucleic acids from the biological specimens. The samples are lysed in optimized lysis buffers with special formulations. The impurities such as proteins, salts and cellular debris are removed during subsequent washing and centrifugation steps. Finally, highly pure nucleic acids are released with low ionic strength buffer. The purified nucleic acids can be used directly in the most demanding downstream applications for in vitro diagnostic analysis.
