RevoDx Influenza A&B qPCR Kit

Influenza virus types A and B are two of the most important causes of human respiratory infection. Seasonal influenza causes substantial mortality and morbidity wolrwide. Influenza virus belongs to the viral family Orthomyxoviridae and has a segmented negative-sense RNA genome in an enveloped virion. There are four types of influenza viruses: A, B, C and D. Human influenza A and B viruses cause seasonal epidemics of disease (known as flu season).

Intended Use

RevoDx Influenza A&B qPCR Kit is a real-time RT-PCR test intended for the qualitative detection and differentiation of nucleic acid from the Influenza A and Influenza B in human oropharyngeal swab and nasopharyngeal swab specimens from individuals with signs and symptoms of infection who are suspected of Flu.
